On Tuesday there will be a Ministerial Statement on Widening Access to Higher Education.
This will be immediately followed by a Scottish Government Debate on the Local Government Finance (Scotland) Order 2018 [Draft] – this Order details the allocation of revenue given to each Local Authority for 2019/2019.
Following this there will be a Stage 1 Debate on the Land and Buildings Transaction Tax (Relief from Additional Amount) (Scotland Bill). If passed this Bill would give retrospective effect to the amendments made by the Land and Buildings Transaction Tax (Additional Amount-Second Homes Main Residence Relief) (Scotland) Order 2017.
On Wednesday, Portfolio Questions will focus on Education and Skills.
There will then be a Stage 3 Debate on the Forestry and Land Management (Scotland) Bill. This is the final stage of debate before the Forestry Commission Scotland is abolished and a new Forestry Department is set up within the Scottish Government.
This will be immediately followed by a Financial Resolution on the UK Withdrawal from the European Union (Legal Continuity) (Scotland) Bill.
On Thursday, General Questions will be followed by First Minister’s Questions.
This will be followed by Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body Questions. The Corporate Body is responsible for ensuring that the Parliament is provided with the services and staff it requires.
Finally, there will be a Scottish Government Debate on International Woman’s Day.
